Mission:
The Nonprofit Leadership Collaborative exists to strengthen, connect, and empower local nonprofits so they can better serve Forsyth and Dawson Counties. Through training, peer learning, shared resources, and partnerships, the Collaborative equips nonprofit leaders with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to grow their organizations, expand their impact, and build a more resilient community.

Provide training, technical assistance, and resources to strengthen organizational effectiveness in areas like fundraising, governance, financial management, and program evaluation.
2. Foster Collaboration & Partnerships
Create opportunities for nonprofits to connect, share best practices, and develop collaborative solutions to community challenges.
3. Strengthen Leadership Development
Equip nonprofit leaders and staff with the skills, mentorship, and peer support needed to lead organizations effectively and sustainably.
4. Elevate Community Voice & Equity
Ensure nonprofits reflect and respond to the needs of the diverse communities they serve, while addressing equity and inclusion across all programs.
5. Provide Shared Resources & Tools
Offer access to data (such as ALICE), research, technology platforms (like Charity Tracker), and shared services that reduce costs and increase efficiency.
7. Advocate for the Nonprofit Sector
Raise awareness of the value nonprofits bring to Forsyth and Dawson Counties and advocate for policies and funding that strengthen the sector.
8. Ensure Long-Term Sustainability
Help organizations diversify revenue streams, plan strategically, and prepare for future challenges, building a resilient nonprofit community.
