United Way Programs
Our early literacy initiative connects trained volunteers with K–5 students for one-on-one reading sessions each week during the school year. By building reading skills and a love for books, we help students reach grade-level benchmarks and lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
A leadership development program for middle and high school students, Youth United empowers young people to engage in volunteerism, fundraising, and advocacy. Members learn how to make a difference in their community while building valuable skills for the future.
The first three years of life are a time of rapid brain growth. The Basics shares five simple ways parents and caregivers can support early learning every day—love, talk, count, play, and read.
